Casa Lobo We are located approximately 20 miles
south of Montgomery, Alabama. We own our own business, Nuisance Animal
Control, Inc. We do beaver control work for the timber
companies and rail roads in our area as well as the individuals who need
our services. This is what pays for our habits: wolf dogs and antiques.
We have 4 adult children, 6 grandchildren, 5 wolves and wolfdogs,1 yard dogs and 4 "just cats". First, let us introduce you to some of the 2 legged members of our family.
Meet our younger daughter, Barbara . She was all dressed up to go
to the prom but she and Dad, Russell, just had to play with the
pups for a while and let her date cool his heels.
Barbara was born August 1, 1979. She was in the US Army stationed at Fort Hood, TX until May, 2001. She served in the US Army Reserves in Indiana after leaving the regular army. She is back in Alabama now and working for the American Red Cross. She is one tough little girl. She stands all of 5 feet and is a black belt in Tang Soo Do. She is quite capable of taking a 6' man's head off with one smooth kick. Not that that would ever enter her mind of course.
Brian and his date, Laurie. Brian and Barbara double dated at the prom
this night and neither one could wait to get home and tell on the other!!
Brian was born August 26, 1977. He graduated from Faulkner University in Montgomery Alabama in Dec. 2001 with a degree in Biblical Studies. He served as Associate Minister with Clear Lake Church of Christ in Springfield, IL starting May 1 of 2002. I got the chance to visit there in July, 2003 before Brian's marriage to Jenny and will be forever grateful to the members of that church for all they did for Brian and Jenny and the graciousness they showed to me during my visit. I hope those wonderful people will continue to watch after my children as they have for the last year and half even though they will no longer be physically in their midst after November 30, 2003. Brian was called by God to serve as the senior minister to the New Life Christian Church in Paragon, IN. He began his ministry there on Dec. 1, 2003. He will finished his ministry there at the end of Oct. 2005. He is currently an agent for American Heritage Life in Evansville, IN. We are so very proud of him and Jenny. BTW, Brian is also a black belt in Tang Soo Do.
These pictures of Brian and Barbara
were taken in the fall of 2000. I think both were much more
comfortable in their jeans and cut-offs than they were in the formal
wear in the first 2 pictures.
Ree is Grumpus's Little Darling . She is the only child of our older
son, Rusty. For a long time she was the only little girl
in the family. Reckon she might be rotten?
Our son, Rusty. He is Ree's dad. Rusty works in the family business. I honestly
Jesse (on the left)
is the youngest son of our older daughter, Lisa
and her husband, Dale. He has 3 older
brothers ranging in age from 14-20 and a baby sister. Right, is brother,
Cody with sister, Simone
. Here Cody is almost 13 and Simone is 4.
Brad was just full of himself at nearly 15. He is kinda cute though, ain't he? He is older brother to Cody, Jesse and Simone.
Our oldest daughter, mother to the brood above, Lisa.
When I first put up our web pages
I received several complaints that there are no pictures of me (Christine)
up so I dug out this one. There will be pictures of Russell
further on in our site.
This was taken at one of Brian's Tang Soo Do tests. I am the one on the left in white. With me is "Aunt" Linda Vickers, one of this family's best friends. I will look for a clearer (and more recent) one when I have time.
Well, I finally took the time to pull a new picture as
promised. This one was taken in December 2001 at our son, Brian's graduation
from Faulkner University.
Yes, we have both gone pretty gray. What can you expect
after raising 4 kids??
