Nashoba is a 75%, 1st generation Alaskan wolf Norwegian Elkhound mix from Gabe Davidson's Fur Farm.
His dam is Lady, (a pure) and his sire
is Bingo (50%).
Nashoba is every bit the alpha male.
Nashoba crossed Rainbow bridge Sept. 25, 2006 at 17 years
of age. He joins his beloved Miss Sheba.

Miss Sheba is Nashoba's mate and of a color known as "blue".
She is an Eastern Timber, which is the smallest of the sub-species. We
aren't quite sure of her % though we do know it is high. She is the daughter
of Rod Twito's Blackman.
Miss Sheba died Aug. 19, 2005 at the age of 15. She had been going down for some time but it was still hard to let her go.

Nusha was sold to us as a 75% 1st gen Alaskan wolf/Mal cross. Her
dad was Coulon who was the son of Nikko ( Davidson
Fur Farm). Her mom was a pure Mal though making
Nusha only 50%. This information came from the breeder of Sabrina, Nusha's mother,
who we met quite by accident.
Miss Nusha was born Jan. 6, 1992. She passed away from complications of surgery to remove a growth on Sept. 8, 2003.

A good
friend from Florida took this picture of
Amadeus
back in 2000.
Amadeus was an abused animal. We are his 14th owners. He is now 14 years
old and slowing down but not giving up. He still loves to play hide and
seek with "Dad" and gives Blossom (his new dog companion)
a good run for her money. When he came to us back in '92, he, the
carrier and all only weighed 91 lbs. He was literally skin, bones and hair.
(Very little hair, at that.) Today, his top winter weight would be around
125.
Amadeus died at age 15 on June 16, 2003

Sitka was a lovely girl. We called her Sissy.
Sissy was 60-70 percent wolf according to phenotyping by so called experts. She and Amadeus were life mates.
Sissy crossed over the bridge April 23, 2002.

Amorak and Mansi and the rest of the guys surely did enjoy
the heavy snow we had here back in Spring of '93. We didn't
though! We had 2 litters of pups to be bottle fed and no lights, heat or
water. Have you ever tried making formula over a bar-b-que grill with melted
snow? T'ain't no fun, folks!
Amorak
passed away Dec. 17, 2001 from stomach torsion. We really have missed
him.
